Why Choose Spongelle Over Other Products?

Spongelle is a Blend of Sea Minerals, Moisturizers, Anti-Oxidants and Anti-Aging Ingredients

The Ancient Greeks knew how to protect and beautify the skin naturally. The use of olive oil and other oils like palm and macadamia nut as well as other ingredients like sea kelp are well documented in Greek history.

It seems the need to bring out the natural aura of the human spirit was delegated to purely synthetic ingredients as Western men and women developed beauty enhancing alternatives in laboratories. Synthetic beauty products with touches of natural ingredients found a way to satisfy the need to feel the radiance of life, but that manmade beauty experience does little to stimulate the essence of natural inner beauty. The skin cleansing and beautifying process evolved into a chemical shower of man made ingredients that stimulate the skin, but never reach the aura of beauty itself.

A new dawn in terms of sponge infusion is realigning and transforming the meaning of the word beauty so it is in sync with the aura of inner beauty. Inner beauty is the natural expression of self fulfillment through a healthy and radiant complexion.

The blend of natural ingredients in the infusion process releases the exact amounts of palm, olive oil, sea kelp, detoxifying agents, macadamia nut oil, and healthy botanicals so the entire body feels the sensation of a beyond cleansing experience.

Sponge Infusion was First Introduced in 2003 and is now Considered a new Category in Skin Care
The texture of the infusion sponges are designed to release ingredients in a gentle, but massaging manner that stimulates the pores in the skin and cleanses them. One scented buffer sponge is an alternative to the endless jars, bottles, wash clothes, and regular sponges that touch the skin’s surface in a primitive way.

This patent pending sponge technology creates a complete bathing and showering experience as well as a new category of skin care because each papaya sandalwood sponge as well as the other fragrances have been infused with lemongrass, sea kelp, olive oil, and bergamot which produce a time release lather with an incredible fragrance.

The Active Ingredients in Sponges Are available in Several Fragrances

The beauty of the infusion beyond cleansing method of bathing and showering lies not only in the active ingredients in each sponge, but in the fragrance of each sponge, which lasts long after the ingredients in the sponge have done their duty. some of those fragrances are: Green Apple Lilac Grapefruit Amber, Hot Spice Ginger, French Lavender Meyer Lemon, Citrus Accord Musk Infusion, and Papaya Sandalwood.

Spongeables LLC produces the total Spongelle collection in the USA and sells it around the world. The large and diversified customer base reconnects to their inner beauty and expresses it the natural way.

Broken Color – The New Style of Impressionist Art

Broken Color – The Concept
In Broken Color Painting, one or more shades of paints are applied in broken layers to impart an interesting look to a surface. Mostly used for interior walls, this technique yields a painted background with different colors applied on it in a variety of ways. The aim is to create a ‘patchwork’ effect instead of a smooth blend. It creates a ‘sensation of light’ by rendering the facets of surface illumination for an appealing visual effect.

The History
French Impressionist Oscar Claude Monet (1840-1926) invented the Broken Color Painting technique. His new mode of painting was called ‘the new painting.’ he used broken color and rapid brushstrokes such that the lower layers of color shined through the upper thin layers. Monet built textures using the tiny dabs of light, adding contours for definition and color harmonies. Led by Monet and his contemporary Impressionists, Broken Color Art was opposed to Ingres’ (French, 1780-1867) carefully labored drawings and the absence of brush-strokes. The ‘insurgents’ made an unabashed use of brush strokes to express a rush of visual sensation personal to the respective artist.

The Methods
oColor washing – Here, a coat of translucent paint is applied over another color background, most often using latex or oil-based paint. different textures & patterns can be created using brush strokes on the thin outer layer.
oShading – in this, the different shades of a color are applied to create a transition from light to dark and vice-versa, usually with eggshell or flat oil paint.
oSponging – Here, a cloudy soft finish is provided with the different shades of the same color, using cellulose or actual sea sponges. The two basic techniques are ‘sponging on’ (applying) & ‘sponging off’ (removing) color.
oDry Brushing or Dragging – This involves dragging a dry brush through a wet glaze before it dries out. The base color shows through the glaze giving an illusion of wood, fabric, or other woven surface.
oCombing & Stippling – Combing is similar to Dragging done with a comb, instead of a brush. Often oil paint is used for glaze. in stippling, a flat brush called stippler is dabbed into a wet glaze of oil or water paint for a finely textured matt finish.
oSpattering – It involves striking a paintbrush with a piece of wood. an alternate spattering technique is to run a comb over the bristles of a paintbrush held upright.
oRagging & Rag rolling – Here, a different color glaze is painted over a base color, which is then distressed using a cloth or rag. in rag rolling, the glazed surface is rolled with a rag folded into a cylindrical shape. in ragging, a crumpled piece of cloth is pressed against the glazed surface.

Conclusion
The Impressionists of the 19th century captured a fresh and original vision through their Broken Color Paintings. During the Post-Impressionist period, this genre became a rather empty and routine form where standard techniques were used to create pre-determined effect. Over the years, Broken Color Painting has failed to fascinate contemporary artists due to its limited use of uplifting interior walls.

Add to Your Hotel Amenity Assortment by Providing Loofah Sponges

Loofah sponges come from a plant, and can actually be eaten as a vegetable Additionally, the loofah plant has many natural healing properties including using the liquid of the plant being to treat jaundice. The loofah that you use, as a scrub for your body, however, cannot be eaten. in fact, the loofah you use on your body, may bear resemblance to the plant in name only.

A natural loofah sponge is created though processing the plant to remove all but the xylem. Xylem is found in plants and is used to transport water and nutrients throughout the plant. these natural loofah are used in kitchen and bath scrubbing.

However, unless you purchase a natural loofah, the loofah sponges that you may be using is often not actually derived from a loofah plant, but are manufactured by folding soft, xylem-like meshy fabric into a shape used for scrubbing. while it is called a loofah, it may not really be from a loofah plant – that is not to say that it may not work just as well for your intended purpose.

Ocean Sponges

Unchanged for hundreds of millions of years, and having no close relatives on the evolutionary tree, the sponge remains a simple and primitive form of animal. Sponges have a remarkable ability to withstand tremendous loss of body material, suddenly growing many times faster than usual to regain the original size. it is even possible that certain types of sponges to be passed through a fine sieve, their bodies broken down to the components cells, and then reform themselves again over a period of hours or days. The average lifespan for individual specimens has been estimated to be 50 years or more.

The simplest form of sponge is shaped rather like a vase, with feeding cells on the inner wall. Water is drawn through minute pores in the outer wall and expelled through the large main aperture. The current is maintained by the feeding cells, each having a tiny whip which is waved continually back and forth. Because of the large volume of water contained within the chamber in proportion to the inner wall surface of feeding cells, higher forms of sponges have adapted by folding out the inner walls to increase the feeding area.

On low tide areas of the beach may be found many of the flat in crusting sponges. these appear in a wide variety of colours and have no definite shape of their own, instead taking on the form of the rock beneath.

Some types of sponge are capable of releasing a poisonous substance to prevent the encroachment of neighbours, and several of these poisons have been used in research laboratories for the preparation of human medicines.

Cleaning make up brushes…?

The care details for my new make up brushes say "after use dip in alcohol" – now I'm fairly certain they don't mean any old bottle I've got in my cupboard; what type of product am I looking for? a brand or UK location to buy (or website) would be great!

any type of wine
i guesss as its alchol

i dip it in hot water

My daughter was a beauty therapist and used white spirit.

alcohol as in peroxide, white spirit or so, clean and clear alcohol is best , not color or mixed with something else

Hiya
I would be very careful with using alcohol to clean brushes even if alchol is what you are directed to use. it can be quite harsh to the fibers of the brushes after a while as it doesnt contain any moisturisers and can dry them out quite quick, ending up in you having to throw away your brushes and buy new ones which you dont really want.
Use rubbing alcohol and clean your brushes once a week to prevent spots. You should be able to get it from a local pharmacy or health store, if not you can buy on ebay for cheap.
I would recommend alternating using the alcohol to clean your brushes with a liquid makeup brush cleaner as they contain moisturisers and will keep your brushes softer and make them last longer.
Mac Brush Cleaner -£7.50 is a really good product that you may want to try out. I clean my brushes with it everyday and they are in tip top condition.

Hope this is some help

How To Choose Eco Friendly Products

If you’re fashionable and also conscious about the impact your choices make on the environment, shopping can be a balancing act. Eco friendly products are a great way to make a difference while you stand out from the crowd. a 2009 report by Canadian environmental agency Terra choice found green claims to be most common in baby products, toys, cleaning products, and cosmetics. when you choose items belonging to these categories, make sure they have the certification to back their claims of being green.

You could wear jewellery made from recycled materials. Buttons, cuffs, brooches can all be reused in necklaces or bracelets. Brass, glass, wood can all help you create a unique look. a ring that you are tired of wearing can look different as necklace pendant.

If you have lost one of a pair of earrings, you can use the remaining one with another earring to create asymmetrical earrings. Mix and match, use your imagination, and still wear them.

Hemp tote bags can also help you to make a statement. they are easy to fold and you can tuck them in a corner of your purse to use in case of need. Bags recycled from truck inner tubes can make you feel and look good. you can also consider bags made from recycled plastic or paper. using items made from recycled plastic bottles can help save space in landfills. Bags made from these are waterproof and easy to maintain.

Wallets made from organic cotton and hemp are useful. you could choose one that has been screen printed using water based inks. If you have a pet, consider buying a natural bamboo collar. Bamboo webbing is naturally odor resistant and anti bacterial. It is more absorbent and dries faster than other natural fabrics.

In case you have dry skin, lotion bars which have pure oils can suit your skin better than ones containing harsher chemicals. Aromatic candles made from natural ingredients can soothe you after a stressful day. Loofahs or bath sponges made from natural materials replenish the soil with nitrogen and help retard soil erosion when they bio degrade. Pillow covers made from eco friendly wool can give you a good night’s sleep.

Cards and notebooks made from recycled paper also help you to do your bit for saving the environment. Disposable plates made from fallen leaves are a good option for parties. other items that can make your home green are organic cotton towels and napkins.
