What about Spanish music ! Bachata, merengue . The party is gonna include grown ups so give them something to dance to also. Bachata is very sexy !

What about some stuff for your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, all the other people (who will be giving you cash gifts) besides your friends (who will not)? You have an obvious taste for one type of music – you don't want to start it out with too much of that – save that for later, after the older folks are tired of the dancefloor ——-

'La Isla Bonita' -and- 'Ray of Light' – Madonna
'Lonely Bull' – Tijuana Brass
'Emotional Rescue' – Rolling Stones
'Dancin' Machine' – Jackson 5
'Don't Leave Me this Way' – Thelma Houston
'low Rider' – War

…..are some suggestions to make those folks happy ———

Guru Josh Project- Infinity 2008
Benny Benassi ft. Gary go – Cinema
Swedish House Mafia – Save The World
Don Omar – Danza Kuduro (feat. Lucenzo)
Fuego Feat. Deevani – Que Buena Tu Ta
Mara- Shake it Up

Mad Anthonys’ 54th event ready to go

By Blake Sebring, The News-Sentinel, Fort Wayne, Ind.

June 11–There aren’t too many sporting entities that have lasted more than 50 years in Fort Wayne. The list is led by things like Little League, Wildcat Baseball, the Komets and some city tournaments, and it also includes the mad Anthonys who will hold their 54th Charity Classic for Children Sunday and Monday.

The charity group will hold its annual banquet at Ceruti’s Summit Park on Sunday evening, and then the golf starts early Monday morning at Sycamore Hills Golf Club. Tee times start at 7 a.m. and run until 1:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10 for a grounds pass and $20 for a clubhouse pass and are available at Bobick’s, Fort Wayne Country Club, Sycamore Hills Golf Club and at the event. The entry is free for children age 16 and younger with the purchase of an adult pass. Ticket prices for the event have not increased in more than 30 years.

Free parking and shuttle service will run from 6:45 a.m. to about 6 p.m. from The Chapel at Covington Road and West Hamilton Road.

Red Coat recipients PGA player John Daly and former NFL quarterback Trent Green lead the list of pros and celebrities which features players Scott Simpson, Amanda Blumenherst, Travis Hampshire, J.J. Killeen, Doug Labelle, Brendan Pappas, Justin Peters, James Sacheck, Chris Smith, Dan Woltmann, Danah Ford Bordner, Jenny Gleason, Stephanie Louden, Gerina Piller, Lili Alvarez, Juli Erekson, Melissa Eaton Jackson, Kylene Pulley and Valentine Derrey.

among the celebrities expected to attend are IPFW men’s volleyball coach Arnie Ball, Olympic gold medal winner Lloy Ball, actor Danny Chambers, Komets broadcaster Bob Chase, Saint Francis football coach Kevin Donley, Komets forward P.C. Drouin, Komets coach Al Sims, former NFL player Jason Fabini, IU radio announcer Don Fischer, Cleveland Browns punter Reggie Hodges, IPFW men’s basketball coach Tony Jasick, former Purdue men’s basketball coach Gene Keady and television actor Roger Ranney.

Daly made his first mad Anthonys appearance last year and he and Green will receive their red coats Sunday evening. Daly also started out playing well at the St. Jude’s Classic in Memphis. if Daley continues to play well into Sunday, the mad Anthonys have a plan to pick him up by a private jet to get him to Fort Wayne.

“If he plays well, it helps us and it helps him,” tournament director Jan Van Til said. “Whatever it takes, we’ll get him here for Monday. even if he has to accept his red coat at the course.”

one of the changes this year is that five local playing pros, Tim Frazier, Todd Firestone, Billy King, Gary Gant and Billy Blumenhurst, are entering their own teams in the event. there will be 39 fivesomes playing on Monday.

“We’re really looking to upgrade the event,” Van Til said. “We’ve just really worked hard to keep costs in control while bringing in really great golf. You aren’t going to see golf of this quality many other places unless you go to a big event.”

in the last 22 years, the event has raised more than $4.5 million for charity. The mad Anthonys are in the fifth year of a 10-year commitment to Children’s Hope House.
