Burberry The Beat For Men – 5 Things You Must Know Before Buying This Great Fragrance

1. Burberry The Beat Cologne

Burberry The Beat is known for its distinct citrusy, woodsy and peppery fragrance that enhances a man’s masculine appeal. Burberry says that this cologne represents all the characteristics of a modern man. It’s totally masculine and sophisticated with an effortless and original identity.

The leatherwood in this Burberry cologne emanates a unique appeal that is a pleasant contrast to the vetiver bourbon and violet leaves accord, and it is highlighted by the sharp scent of spicy black pepper cedrat.

2. The Creators of Burberry The Beat

Burberry The Beat Cologne was launched in 2008. It was the result of the hard work of two famous perfumers Domitille Bertier and Oliver Polge, who used music to come up with this fantastic fragrance.

These two are not new to the fragrance industry as they have already created several best-selling fragrances for Victor & Rolf and Christian Dior. Their collaboration for Victor & Rolf was called Flowerbomb. they created it in 2004 and it is now one of the most popular fragrances of this decade.

Domitille Bertier is also behind amazing women’s fragrances like Cacharel Liberet, Cacharel Noa Perle and Thierry Mugler Miroir des Secrets. on the other hand, Oliver Polge has collaborated with other perfumers to create remarkable men’s cologne and women’s fragrances like Azarro Visit, Bulgari Eau Parfum au The Rouge, Clinique Happy Heart, Diesel Only The Brave, Dior Dior Homme, Dior Pure Poison, Emmanuel Ungaro Apparition Homme, Giorgio Armani Code, Guerlain Cuir Beluga, Jil Sander Jil, Kenzo Kenzo Power, La Perla Blue, Lancome Miracle Forever, Liz Claiborne Bora Bora, Moschino Friends Men, Robert Verino Gold, Salvatore Ferragamo F for fascinating and Salvatore Ferragamo F by Ferragamo Pour Homme.

3. Burberry The Beat Smells Like.

This new addition to the Burberry cologne line is similar to L’eau Par Kenzo Ice because of the fresh, clean feeling of the cold citrus aroma. however, this is a bit different from Kenzo’s Ice because after some time this becomes warmer and delightfully spicy.

Its fresh citrus scent is somewhat similar to CK one Summer. The nice fruity blend is long lasting and will leave you smelling pleasant all day.

The Beat’s mild peppery fragrance is similar to Armani Diamonds. This Burberry cologne, an urbanely interesting creation, combines two important characteristics in men; mysteriousness and sex-appeal. When The Beat warms up to a soft amber scent, it becomes quite similar to Burberry Brit.

4. Women love the Smell of Burberry The Beat Cologne

Women just love it when their men wear Burberry The Beat Cologne. they love its fresh and unique scent that brings out the youth in their husbands or boyfriends. Wives think that its practical for their husbands to use The Beat as its fragrance lasts very long.

5. Modern and Sophisticated Men use The Beat

Those who wear this men’s cologne for the first time immediately know that this fragrance is different. It is superbly modern but also sophisticated and definitely sexy. It is a good complement for the modern man who wants to radiate with power and confidence.

Extend Your Budget with Clothing Capsules

Clothing capsules offer a clever way to extend your wardrobe and do a lot with a little. By using the clothes you already have in new and different combinations, you give yourself lots of options without buying anything new. in fact, once you understand how clothing capsules work, you can build your wardrobe around them and give yourself tons of outfits — and stop wasting money on impulse items that don’t go with anything else you own.

The first thing you need to do is remember when planning clothing capsules is that you CAN mix and match your clothes. often, we get in such a rut that we forget that there’s more than one way of doing things. Once you break out of that way of thinking and try different things, you’ll be amazed as what you can do.

So what’s a clothing capsule?

A clothing capsule is a group of 5-12 pieces (jacket, skirt, slacks, etc.) that work in combination with each other in color, style, or mood. Black pants with a leapored print scarf, for example, or a white skirt with a navy and white top.

If you always wear certain tops with certain bottoms or always wear the same jewelry with a certain dress, realizing that you can wear those tried-and-true combos in different ways becomes very liberating. it also allows you to do a lot more with your wardrobe, enabling you to buy less, save more, and still look great all the time.

While there are no set rules, here are some general guidelines for building wardrobe capsules:

*Solids mix more easily than prints.

*Prints can bridge two completely different solids.

*Simple, untrimmed styles are more versatile and become less dated.

*Each piece should be in your most flattering color palette and fit both your shape and your clothing personality. Don’t buy items that don’t fit or make you look good.

*Avoid trendy styles. What’s in this year will be out next year and you’ll be out the cash. Invest in classic styles instead to get more wear out of your clothes.

Now I know from experience that some women are really good at mixing and matching while others need a little more help. Arrange your closet for easy access by keeping all the pants together, all the jackets together, all the skirts together, etc., by color, so that you can see at a glance what you have to work with.

Study catalogs and window displays for ideas. Make note of how a jacket might be worn a little differently or how an accessory might be worn in a new way. it doesn’t take a lot.
To re-emphasize: Start building your capsules with what you have. often, the first inclination is to go run buy something new. It’s not necessary. See what you have, see what you need, and add pieces as your budget allows.

In the meantime, experiment with what you have. Write down the combinations if necessary. You’ll get the hang of this in no time.

Once you unlock your creativity by looking at your wardrobe every which way, you’ll soon find yourself doing the same with other aspects of your life, like your home, your job, problem solving, etc. when you do, you’ll be delighted at what your imagination can come up with. in the words of fashion designer Jil Sander, think more, buy less.

Designer Sunglasses

If you want to sport around a hot new summer look, try getting yourself some sunglasses. not just any kind, but we’re talking designer sunglasses. Never thought of purchasing designer sunglasses? try these great brands to pull off your summer in style:

Alexander McQueen, Chloe, Christian Dior, D&G, Dolce and Gabbana, Emporio Armani, Exte, Fendi, Ferragamo, Gianfranco Ferre, Giorgio Armani, Givenchy, Gucci, Jean Paul Gaultier, Jil Sander, John Richmond, Miu Miu by Prada, Montblanc, Oakley, Persol, Porsche Design, Prada, Prada Sport, Ralph Lauren/Polo, Ray Ban, Revo, Roberto Cavalli, Romeo Gigli, Silhouette, Stella McCartney, The North Face, Trussardi, Versace, Vivienne Westwood, and Yves Saint Laurent.

As you can see you won’t be lacking in the designer department, there is obviously a style for everyone and anyone. There are about what seem to be a million styles offered by these great designers, and if you really want to be a trendsetter, get yourself a matching outfit that fit the sunglasses

If you thought those designers gave you great options for awesome looks, you are definitely in for another bonus. not only do you get to pick the style of shades that you want to be flaunting off, but what they’re composed of as well. You can pick from a unisex frame or a plastic frame. oh yeah, and you can pick up some organic ones if you want. if that doesn’t float your boat, try some polycarbonate lenses. that should fix you up.

So if you really want to look great and have something to brag about, get yourself some designer glasses and you will have your get-up go great, as well as your summer trend.

Architectural Style (Photo)

By Kurt Wilberding Kurt Wilberding for The Wall Street Journal

“Embrace the chaos,” says Matthew Bentley, Creative Director of Kings of Genre.

Matthew layers a pale blue G-Star overcoat over a dark brown UNIQLO sweater and floral Ralph Lauren shirt. ?His pants are designed by Jil Sander for UNIQLO’s +J collection. ?Matthew’s black suede shoes are by Buttero. ?Belle D’blo made his brick-toned, woven turban.

Besides UNIQLO, Matthew shops at Marni in SoHo. he spends around $400 a month on clothing and accessories.

The one item that he cannot live without: turbans. ?He owns several in an array of colors.

“Fashion is a verb,” says Matthew. ?He sees it as building a look in an architectural way. ?”You fashion things together to give a statement, to give oneself dimension and structure.”

Fashion Trends For Spring-Summer 09

This summer, several key trends will be appearing on the beach, by the pool and after hours. while the seasonal forecasts have been around since 2008, you can now begin to get your hands on the trickle-down of styles and suggestions that were first seen on catwalks months ago.

As with every season, you’ll find a range of stand-out trends from which high street fashion stores have either drawn directly or taken a subtle nod. this means you can either emulate the key trends effortlessly, or mix it up to get a flavour of what’s hot in amongst your own summer style.

This summer’s style pack will undoubtedly be rocking the risqu sheer and see-through trend, which will keep you cool when it heats up. You can mix up the sheer trend with heavier fabrics too, for example, a sheer, floaty underskirt or dress, teamed with a chunky knit will not only keep you warm as the sun sets, but the combination of styles, fabrics and textures will look effortlessly chic.

You’ll also want to pay attention to trousers, because they’re going to be big this summer. Making a fashion statement is easy in the trouser of the season and this spring/summer, the eastern influenced harem trouser is positively de rigueur. You can dress harem pants up or down as they’re perfect either for a lazy morning walk with flip flops, or with killer heels, chunky belt and loose fitting shirt for a night on the town with the girls or boys.

Fringing is also going to be big this summer, which suits every cowgirl down to the ground. from suggestive leather thonging on oversized handbags, to fringed hems on trousers, skirts and even full-length fringing on dresses, ala Raf Simons at Jil Sander; Nicolas Ghesquire at Balenciaga and even Chanel are getting in on the action with the fringe benefits of this look.

In terms of cutting, biased, asymmetry and one-shoulder dresses, tops and swimwear are everywhere. Channelling a Grecian vibe, single-shoulders are alluring and practical and are great for keeping cool when the weather is warm.

Finally, to be en point with the key spring/summer women’s fashion trends this year, hit the shops hunting prints – the more vibrant and colourful, the better. Think clashing, outrageous eye-catching pops of colours and textures and you’ll be well on your way. John Galliano for Dior, Roberto Cavalli and Christopher Kane were all over this trend this season and so should you.

Which hair would suit me better? (I'm a guy)?

I have a medium length haircut. my hair is kind of straight and thick and the color is either black or dark brown. I don't really have sideburns. and I think I can either go with

"classy" slicked back hair with left hand side parting like this

02f97cf.netsolhost.com/WordPress/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/jil_sander_mens_hair.jpg

or shaggy emo hair with side bangs like this:

emohaircutstyles.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/short-black-emo-hair-330×406.jpg

Other factors:
My face is kind of round and small but I have strong jawlines with small lips. my nose is small but pointy with a clear bridgeline and my eyebrows are the most noticeable features on my face. they are thick. It's kind of hard to describe but maybe "strong" would be the word, like Robert Pattinson's eyebrows (the vampire guy). and my skin tone is supposedly olive but I'm very pale for some reason. anything else on my face is pretty average.
I usually wear dark colored plaid plaid button down shirts with black pants/dark blue jeans.

What do you think?

Slicked back hair would look better on you.

I think the emo hair style is better…It's edgy and I like it. some emo guys look really hot. :]

Jil Sander – Company History

Though considered as the Queen of German Fashion, Jil Sander is one popular designer who caters to international fashion designs. the products she sells all carry an international touch, and although her company is nestled beautifully in the northern part of the German city, Hamburg, the clothes and fragrances she markets are all manufactured in Milan, Italy.

Jil Sander was born in Wesselburen, Germany on November 27, 1943. She entered the fashion industry when she started working as a fashion journalist at McCall’s in Los Angeles, as well as for two other magazines in the city, Constanze and Petra. She became a fashion designer in 1968 when she opened her own boutique, then selling a collection of women’s wear.

During the early years of her being a clothing designer, Jil Sander was favored much for her delicate fabrics. her design was compared to the 1920′s Bauhaus architecture, but she also crafted lines of simple cuttings. She was able to enrich her collection though when she started adding some coordinates to her own pieces. This is where the collection of delicate colors, shapes, and fabrics, all designed for women, came in.

In 1978, Jil Sander opened her first ever perfume boutique under the name Jil Sander GmbH. Fragrances and cosmetics of high quality were introduced to the market through this trademark, and it is worth knowing that since the year of its inception, all products were able to hit the market with positive reviews and testimonials from all sides.

True to what Sander guarantees, all her fragrances and cosmetics carry a delicate quality that most people consider as unmatched. She marketed her own lines of perfume by showing an advertising campaign with her face featured prominently on the products’ cover.

The clothing, cosmetic, and later, the eyeglasses and lenses collection of Jil Sander were finally brought to Milan when she decided to expand her coverage to attract the international market. She brought her name to North America, as well as to Asia using her own capital.

It was in 1993 when she opened her own store in Paris, showing her collections of delicate items on the building’s four floors. She joined with Puma, and the two successfully launched their sneakers collection.

Jil Sander handles her own business by herself. She took care of the designing process down to the selection of fabrics. the quality control of her own garments is even handled with her own approval, and to further make sure that everything is done perfectly, she involves herself in the surveillance of her own marketing products and accessories.

Unlike other international fashion designers, the Jil Sander house of fashion is known for its strict behavioral rules that each of her personnel has been maintaining. the sales persons of each of Sander’s branches are positioned in the boutique meticulously.

With all the interests and efforts exerted into her own business, Jil Sander was able to manage her own company until the 21st century. her success continues until today, but unlike before, Prada is now part of their success.

It was in 1999 that the Prada Group bought a reported 75 percent of the company’s share. She resigned though in 2004 as the head designer and partner of the Prada Group after having conflicts with Prada’s very own Mr. Patrizio Bertelli.

Tips on Dry Skin Care – Banish That Itchy Patch!

Are you frustrated with your current dry skin care routine? ever wondered if you are allergic to something in your creams?

Sometimes even the most expensive creams and lotions contain ingredients that cause dry itchy skin. Usually it’s the fragrances but there are other substances that can cause you to break out in irritated patches.

Fragrances are used by most manufacturers to mask the smell from the product. most of the chemicals that go into run-of-the-mill moisturizers don’t smell at all nice so perfumes get shovelled into the product to make it smell good.

But a good quality product doesn’t need to use chemical fragrances. instead, it will contain pure, natural ingredients that have no offensive odor in the first place.

Your first step if you have itchy patches is to go fragrance-free with your moisturizers.

Next, consider the use of alcohols in your cream. You’ll often see them on the label listed as one of these: ethanol, ethyl alcohol, methanol, benzyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol and SD alcohol.

These are very drying and irritating ingredients, and they can strip away the protective mantle of your skin, leaving you vulnerable to bacteria and viruses. instead, make sure you choose a moisturizer that includes only stearyl and cetearyl alcohol. these are waxes and are not related to the other alcohols listed here.

Mineral oil is another substance to avoid. It will often appear under the names liquid paraffin, paraffin wax or petrolatum. It’s a petroleum-based product intended to coat the face to keep in moisture. unfortunately, it also strips away natural protective oils, causing chapping and dryness. But it’s a cheap ingredient so it’s popular with many manufacturers.

If you’re serious about controlling that red, irritated skin, look out for an unusual ingredient called Phytessence Wakame. This strange-sounding substance is an antioxidant derived from Japanese sea algae. It’s rich in a number of important nutrients, including calcium, iron and potassium, but it also contains B-group vitamins, which soothe inflammation.

So, go ahead and ditch those under-performing, irritating dry skin care products you’re suffering with and try something new today!

Shopping for dry skin care products shouldn’t be a chore. why not take a look at my website for more advice and information about natural, fragrance-free moisturizers and lotions?
