Fabulous Hair Clips for Stunning Updos

When you are planning an evening out or attending a special occasion or event, you may want to put your hair up into an elegant up-do and this will involve finding the right kind of hair clip. the hair clip you choose can be as simple or as elaborate and decorative as you like; and can match your hair color so that it is not conspicuous or can be a fashion statement and talking point by itself.

A plain barrette style clip in a mock tortoiseshell pattern merges well into brown or chestnut hair and looks simple, stylish and elegant. This is also an easy way to put your hair up for an everyday casual look. Barrettes are also available in a range of sizes and in every color combination you can imagine so you are sure to be able to find one to go with your outfit.

A fashionable look can be achieved with a flower hair clip. You could wear a multitude of clips each with a small flower in matching or contrasting designs and colors or one big flower corsage clip to make a statement. these can have beaded centers and individual petals made of a mesh fabric or even feathers.

Staying with feathers a particularly beautiful and eye-catching hair clip is one made to look like peacock feathers. Zad makes a range of these in neon colors, combining a retro with an up to date, high fashion look. Another popular design is hair clips with bows. again you could choose an assortment of small bows in toning shades for a pretty effect or one large bold bow worn on the back of the head for a retro 80s look.

Jeweled hair clips are fabulous for evening and can be classy and discrete or big loud and glitzy. A large sparkling silver or gold colored clip studded with crystals will certainly make an impact and looks amazing with a plain black outfit. for something a little more demure, hair clips made from simulated, or real freshwater pearls are a classic look for an elegant evening.

If your hair is too short naturally for an up-do, how about looking at clip in hair extensions available in straight or wavy styles or clip in bangs? these can create a totally new look for you for evening wear with sexy waves that match your natural hair color. or for a party you could choose extensions in a vibrant color, such as hot pink for a funky young look.

The Best Accessories for Black Dresses

A black dress is incredibly flexible and versatile. it has been credited with being one of the most classic and wearable pieces of womens clothing. Smart, sexy, seductive or minimalist, a little black dress can be anything that you want it to be. it can work equally well for the evening, for work or for a more casual daytime look. it is like a blank canvas that can be styled in so many different ways. it is all about how you accessorise it.

So what are the best accessories for a black dress? And how can you style your black dress to keep up with the latest women’s fashion?

Before you start to choose the accessories to wear with your black dress, you should think carefully about the look that you are trying to achieve. you can create whatever look you like but minimalist, classic, glamorous, retro and even eclectic are all possibilities with versatile pieces of womens clothes. there are countless other options including the latest on trend looks, for example if the colour camel or animal prints are big news, add shoes, scarves or scarves that fit with these trends.

For the daytime, a classic look can be achieved by accessorising a black dress with ballet pumps and a simple string of pearls. Depending on the weather and the style of black dress other womens clothes like a short cardigan in just about any colour can be added or a tailored jacket or blazer for a smarter look. for work it is usually best to keep it simple by choosing one or two accessories. a brightly coloured belt is a great way to cinch in a dress that is not as fitted as you would like and a brightly coloured or patterned scarf is a great way to add colour and interest to a black dress.

For the evening, you can create a really stylish and eye catching look by allowing your shoes to do the talking. Pick a really beautiful pair of statement shoes and then wear them with your black dress. keep all other accessories to a minimum so that they do not detract from your shoes, perhaps just a pair of stud earrings and a simple pendant necklace.

Another option for the evening is to layer on the sparkle, add lots of sparkle but in small amounts, perhaps, a beautiful diamond necklace, a clutch bag, a crystal hair clip or a piece of sparkly womens clothing like a shrug. you could also go all out with just one statement piece of jewellery that is really big on glamour.

For a fun casual look try wearing your black dress with a great pair of coloured tights. there are also many different patterned tights around to choose from which really make a feature of your legs. In the winter you can wear thick opaque tights for a cosy option and in the summer wear eye popping bright sheer tights.

A black dress is also a great piece of womens clothing that lends itself particularly well to becoming elegant evening dress. try adding a pair of heels, a pashmina and a hat or fascinator.

Baby Bow Headbands And Hair Bows For Little Girls

Parents have many options for different types of hair bows for baby girls that are both comfortable and stylish. Hair bows refer to a wide range of hair and head accessories, such as headbands, barrettes and crowns. whether you are taking your baby to a picnic, a spring garden party, or an evening out, there is a hair bow to match every outfit and every occasion. Hair bows for baby girls are designed to stay on their head when their hair is too fine or wispy to hold a clip.

The most popular type of hair bows for baby girls are ones where a ribbon bow attaches to an elastic band that reaches around the head to fit snugly. Decorative, soft fabric encases the elastic. these are appropriate for infants, as they are as comfortable as a hat and stay put without having to be constantly adjusted. for toddlers, a headband might be better. these are made of stiff plastic and sit atop the head, only wrapping around to behind the ears. the hair bow itself is adhered to the top of the band, or a series of bows could wreath the circlet.

Plain hair bows for baby girls use bows in clusters of different colors or types of ribbon. Parents can even craft these themselves. in additon, popular accentuating shapes on hair bows include plastic figures, silk flowers, or charms. Animals like ducks, ladybugs, kittens, bears, bees, and butterflies add ornamentation. Some parents prefer colorful flowers, like a bouquet of white daisies, a pink rose, or a bright sunflower. these can be easily coordinated with a jumper in a floral pattern, gingham checks, or socks with a ruffle of matching ribbon. A charm can even show what the baby enjoys doing, such as a rainbow beach ball or hobby horse.

Fancy hair bows for baby girls that use designer fabrics and rich colors can be worn on special occasions. Hair bows can be made of grosgrain or silk ribbon, taffeta, tulle, velvet, organza, or marabou. these extravagant materials are perfect for Christmas, Kwanzaa, birthday gatherings, religious services, weddings, and graduations. for a seasonal touch, a Halloween ribbon could have black and orange polka dots with a jack-o-lantern, or a St. Patrick’s day bow could sport an emerald green spray with silk shamrocks.

Wedding hair questions?

I have long, blonde, curly hair that I want to wear mostly down for my wedding. my hair will be down to my lower back by then. I bought a medium length veil, simple but beautiful. Do I have to wear it with a tiara? I don't really want a tiara. could I have a small rose by one ear or a hair fasinator? I want a simple style but I love pretty clips. Thanks.

You don't have to wear a tiara. Heck you don't even have to wear a veil if you don't want to! It's your day so you can do whatever you want, and that includes your hairstyle.

For my wedding, my hair was blonde and down to the middle of my back. I wore it down in big loose curls and had a real lily pinned in my hair. if you like the idea, you could get whoever is doing your flowers to provide a fresh one for the day.

you dont have to wear a tiara if you dont want to. people before never wore tiaras and their veils still looked beautiful. im sure it will look just fine. test things out in your hair and see how they look.

You do not have to wear a tiara. I hate them, personally! I'm the bride, not a little girl playing dress-up-like-a-princess.

I opted for a headband that had a little flower on the side with some simple little pearl & rhinestone beads along the rest of it – - sort of like you describe with a 'small rose by one ear'. it is pretty, but also on the simple side.
It is similar to this, but simpler (this will give you an idea): bridalheadpieces.com/headbnds…

i think you answered your own question. it is your day, do whatever you want. my hair is down to my waist and i plan on pulling the front back to keep it out of my face and somehow pinning pieces of the back up a little. where i live humidity is a very big problem so i am scared to leave my curly hair hanging all day.

i think that your hair would look gorgeous half up half down. with either a rose on one side by your ear or a crystal pony-tail holder. tiaras aren't necessary. and i would say that unless your hair is all up or all down i would skip the veil and if you are set on a veil go with a smaller one that you can put lower in your hair. i did my fiancees sisters hair for her wedding and her hair was half up half down and i put a smaller veil right above her ears so it didn't cover all of her hair.

yeah you can do whatever you want, you should do whatever you feel will be prettiest

Never Lose A Baby Hair Clip Again!

Nothing can make a little girl look cuter than a hair clip. But moms and dads know how hard it can be to keep hair accessories in. every parent hates losing hair clips, especially when they are baby gifts from someone special. Nonslip hair clips that won’t pull on your baby’s or toddler’s hair are necessary.

There are a couple of different reasons why it is so common to lose baby hair clips. The main reason is that the hair tends to be very fine at that age and there isn’t that much of it to clip onto. after you put on your favorite little girls hair accessories there is no guarantee that it will not slip off after half an hour. The ones that do stay put are likely to tug at the hair and make your child uncomfortable.

Another reason why hair clips don’t stay attached for long is that babies are constantly moving their heads around. They are eager to see everything in the world so they are always looking this way and that. this causes hair accessories to be lost around the house, at the park, and while you are shopping.

If you are lucky, you might have found a couple of hair clips that don’t slip out of your baby’s hair. But a couple of barrettes aren’t enough if you want to show off your child with a lot of cute and creative girls hair accessories. every baby girl should have a variety of hair clips that they can wear. They need baby bows and headbands for when they are dressed nicely for professional photographs or holidays. They should also have some fun barrettes with animal shapes or flowers for days that they go to the park or the zoo.

When you are looking for clips that meet your requirements, you want to look for two main things. one of these things is a guaranteed nonslip policy. this can be hard to find, because most companies don’t mind if you keeping losing the clips; they want you to buy more. you should also check to make sure that the clip doesn’t pull or tug on the hair. While looking cute is great, the baby’s comfort is more important.

There are companies that makes sure you’ll never lose a baby hair clip again. They wrap plush Swiss velvet around the metal part of the clip to make sure it grips securely. this is a comfortable solution for the baby because it is soft and light weight.

These nonslip clips make the perfect present for little girls and their parents. They are fun, affordable, and they can be used again and again.
