So ladies, the next time you take a home pregnancy test be sure to read all of the directions of the test, make sure that if you did use an hCG trigger shot, that enough time has passed and by all means, don’t dig the test out of the trash to double check the results. How accurate are then when used this early?
Has anyone tested six days before period and got a negative but actually been pregnant?

I've tested that early with that pregnancy test and it came up negative and then two weeks later got a doctors pee test and it was a faint positive. I really all depends on how your hormones are in your body right now and if there's even enough to show up on a test

How often is a home pregnancy test wrong?

My last period started December 13, 2008. My fiance and I have tried to conceive 6 times since then. I still haven't gotten my period and it's now February 3rd, 2009. I took a home pregnancy test but it came back negative. How often can they be wrong? I have a lot of the common symptoms such as fatigue, swollen breasts, hunger, nausea and the metallic taste in my mouth.

not often best thing to do though if your wondering is get a blood test from the doctors to confirm! or wait a couple more days and take another test. it took me 3 days after missed period to get a positive.
