Increase the Power of Cotton Pads

You may use cotton pads every day for your skin care and cosmetic beauty. but, most of you may just use cotton pads to soak your toner and apply to your face. if yes, you fail to maximize the function power of your cotton pads. let us understand how we can use cotton pads differently.

Basically you can find cotton and non-woven pads in the market. Cotton ones are thick and soft. The absorbing power for cotton ones are not as strong as non-woven ones. if you use the cotton ones for apply toner, you probably need larger amount. The cotton ones are better choice for cleanse the cuticle or for mask. Soft cotton pads are not always the best. You should choose those that are made of natural materials. So that there will be no fiber left on your face and the pores will not be clogged.

Cotton pads can help you apply toner to your face evenly. From the research of Japanese cosmetic brand Shiseido, it is best to use 1.5 to 2 ml every time. Skin around eye area is very delicate, just press and hold the toner-soaked cotton pads around eye area. Cuticle easily accumulates around cheek and jaw bone area. You can gently cleanse (pull action) to remove the cuticle. Use the thicker pad to soak the toner, press and hold around mouth and chin area.

Cotton pads are always used with lotion as well. Apply lotion with pads helps you reach all the hard-to-reach areas like around your nose. Take some lotion with your pads and press onto your cheek area. this pressing really helps press the lotion into your skin. for eye area, you are advised to use pads around 5mm thick. Add a few drops of water and eye lotion to the pads. The water helps the eye lotion effuse out.

Many of you may face the problem of blackheads. It is not advised to squeeze out the blackheads as the pores may get inflammation. You can soak the pads with toner and place them onto your T zone. this helps soften your cuticle. Then you can simple gently cleanse your blackheads.

As most of the pads are with 5mm thick. You can use them for your facial treatment. Soak the pads with toner or other moisturizer. Then tear one pad into 5 to 6 pieces and you can apply them to different parts of your face.

Benefit High Beam – Changing the Way You Look

Benefit is an ever-growing range of cosmetics and their target audience is quite funky and loud. The range of products is very vast from all sorts of nail polishes, lipsticks to base and eye colors. each type of product itself has a diverse range of variety and therefore it is considered a good brand. not many people were at first aware of the product range of Benefit but now the brand has developed quite a lot.

Although there are many products, the Benefit High Beam is one of the most popular. It is a complexion enhancer used as a highlighter for the facial skin. It highlights the facial features you want to enhance and one of the major benefits of the product is its long lasting effects. The highlighter can easily last all day and the effect on the skin is like a natural glow.

The Benefit High Beam is a smooth lotion with a silvery pinky tone and this is as an illuminator for the skin. there are other tones and colors available by the brand to suit different skin tones; however, this particular product gives a radiant and funky look to the skin. because of the funky and musical look to the tone, it is more suitable for nighttime application rather than daytime.

Here, it is quite important to point out that this particular product is somewhat expensive and not easily within limits; however, the quality of the product justifies the cost. The product is ideal for a quick fixing up of the skin. One of the disadvantages of the product is that the effects of the product no matter how elegant are not long lasting and are simply for a limited time period. therefore, it is advisable not to use the product on a very regular basis.

The Benefit High Beam can be used in 3-4 dots and then evenly applied onto the skin to create a similar base tone. The whole application process is not really difficult, and the glow and the radiant look it provides can last the night and is good for parties and late night functions. You can experience its amazing effects when it is applied on your face and you feel your skin glow. It is due to these amazing effects that most women consider their make up kits incomplete without the Benefit high beam and you can decide for yourself once you use it yourself.

Outta these three…?

outta these three powders which wood u get??
i want one for mid day touch ups n shine reduce.

1) Estée Lauder Double Matte Oil-Control Pressed Powder
2)Clarins Shine Stopper
3)Shiseido pureness compact.

&&
whats a pretty blush color?
not any pinks or purples, more of a nude or peach?

thanak you<3

Whatever goes best with you and how it looks on you.

Estee Lauder all the way it works really freaking well for me!
NUDE blush to dont look wierd

Estee Lauder!

Bobbi Brown does a great peachy, nude blush

Any three of the compacts are good quality. Personally, I would go with Shiseido. I just really like their formulations and how they work on MY skin, but everyone is different.

As for blush, try Orgasm by Nars. It's a great peachy-pink color that is also good on many skin tones. they make a gloss to match.

I think the Estee Lauder one would be better because it is more well known and a good quality. for the color- although you dnt ike pinks- a suttle pink nude or bronze would be very pretty.

IM IN LOVE WITH BARE MINERALS WARMTH. =]

It adds anywhere from a subtle to a deep cheek color.

It looks reall dark in the container but it turns into a golden peach/bronze color. Without all the fake glitter look.

Shiseido pureness compact has the best rating out of all of those!

A great peachy-pink blush is NARS Orgasm (i know, bad name, sorry!). for just a peach blush try Benefit Georgia. Chanel makes a nude blush, too.

What can and can't I take on a plane?

I have to take all my stuff in my carry on because checking a bag is $25 and I would rather do something else with that money. so would I be able to bring like 3 curling/straightening irons, my make-up (eye shadow, blush, foundation, lipstick) deodorant, perfume, and stuff like that? plus, what should I bring on a week trip to D.C?

you cant bring 3oz of bottled perfume or anything with liquids on a plane

thank you for completing this quiz!

I got 7.
But I only use about 9 of those things.
The only things that didn't get a check were shampoo and conditioner.

Save the animals!

Everything I use is tested on animals. if you want me to change my mind I won't – I don't have money to throw at stuff not tested by animals as it's too expensive for me.

I got 7, and the other ones I don't even use.
Everything I use is not animal- tested.
Yay! Save the animals!!! xD
