What brandS of foundation, bronzer, blush, and lipstick should I use?

I just started using Proactiv. It says in the booklet to use NON-COMEDOGENIC and OIL-FREE make-up. It only mentions make-up that's from Proactiv. Now since their make-up is probally high price (which I DON'T want) what other brand of make-up should I use (for foundation, bronzer, blush, and lipstick)? Also, would Sheer Cover work? I know that my skin is VERY acne prone.

I believe a lot of the products by Physician's Formula are good for skin that can be sensitive. they also just came out with a line of organic make-up. not as cheap as say CoverGirl but not as expensive as BareMinerals or Proactiv's stuff.

Anything that is oil-free and non-comedogenic. on the same token, avoid using makeup that has anti-acne ingredients in it because you are over using those ingredients (also included in you skin care) and can make breakouts worse because your skin will produce more sebum to compensate for the drying properties of all the cosmetics.

Actually, the best suggestion is to keep the same brand makeup and skin care because they are formulated to be used together so the ingredients don't overlap.

non-comedogenic means it wont clog pores leading to acne, and oil free means the product doesn't contain any oils that will make you break out. you should be using products that are recommended by your dermatologist, not by commercials etc. derms know best. the best one so far is Dormer Laboratories Hypo-allergenic, non=comedogenic, hypo-irritant cosmetics. they are the safest to use and are recommened and used by derms.

Has anyone ever tried this bronzer?

Jane shimmering bronzer?

walgreens.com/store/pickcolor…
(Its a lot more bright and shimmery than the picture shows)

Im excited because I love the way it looks in the package and it looks like it can double as eyeshadow because of the different colors and the shimmer.

So has anyone tried this?

Thanks for your answers!!:)

I have a bronzer like that except It isn't the one you have.

I found that the bronzer i have (the pigments are also seperated like yours in squares though, not in stripes) refuses to mix well.
I think the better the quality the better they mix.
The lighter color won't blend with the darker color so when I apply it, the color just looks too dark.
I'm not sure why but if I really swirl my brush around it starts to dig at the compressed powder and I get something.

Because it's only $6 it might not blend as well but it looks really cute and classy.

:]]] but this is just what I learned from my makeup with seperated pigments.

no, sorry…but it looks great! and for only about $6, why not try it:]

no it looks great though!

10 Make-Up Tricks You Must Know

Couldn’t figure out the perfect way to apply make-up? Don’t worry! That’s why we’re here!

   1. Dusting light powder down the bridge of the nose makes it look thinner also when applying a darker color at the tip of the nose makes it appear shorter.

   2. instead of fully lining the lips, draw a sideways-V shape on each outer corner. this will make your lips look fuller and more natural than overall lining.

   3. Apply mascara only on the outer upper corners of the lash line, it lifts the eye and makes it look more open, in addition more natural.

   4. Brush your lips softly with a toothbrush before applying lip gloss and the lip gloss will stay on longer.

   5. Applying black eyeliner just half way under the eyes and an top lash line will make your eyes look bigger and sexy.

   6. If you apply blush/bronzer closer to the center of your face, it makes the face look longer and slimmer, whereas applying bronzer/blush near the ears and away from the nose/center makes the face look wider.

   7. put some green make-up on red pimples before applying concealer to help reduce the obvious redness.

   8. Apply eyeliner to top lash line to make eyelashes look thicker and longer.

   9. Apply Vaseline® to lashes at night to make them healthy and fuller. you can also apply it in a way that your lashes are curled in the morning. just create a curl on your lashes with the Vaseline® and they should be kinda curly in the morning.

  10. too much foundation can make your skin look worse. Don’t exaggerate, less is more! ;-)
