Toiletry bags are something that you can’t live without. they are an essential addition to your travel equipment. you are always going to need somewhere to put all of your bathroom stuff, and there is no other perfect place for that, you need a toiletry bag. you really don’t want to have to put your toothbrush in your bag, it can get dirty and you don’t want to put it in your mouth. Many of us have quite a lot of things that we need to put in the bag as well, and it is the best solution to keep your bathroom things organised. it is a central place, and it means that when you travel you will have easy access to some important things. there are many different types and styles of toiletry bags out there, and you will be sure to find on that you want.

Toiletry Travel Bag

This bag is especially designed for travel. there are a few different kinds within this category, but mostly they are pretty compact and you can carry it around with you easily. they come in a few different sizes, and you need to decide what size you need according to how much stuff you want to take. the more that you will be travelling, the smaller you should consider getting it.

Leather Toiletry Bag

Leather is a fantastic material for any bag, and that does not exclude a toiletry bag. it is very durable, which is important for this type of bag, and it will last a long time. When you are travelling a lot you don’t want to have to worry about your toiletry bag wearing down and getting holes.

Hanging Toiletry Bag

This is a very good option for people that are not travelling as much a hanging toiletry bag does exactly what its name says, it hangs. this means you can put it on a hook, and you can have your toiletries easily accessible in the bathroom or wherever you feel like hanging it.

Mens Toiletry Bag

A lot of toiletry bags look very feminine, however there is a large range of men’s toiletry bags out there. they can often look really stylish. you just need to know what size you want, and you have a choice of a few colors.

Manicure Sets As Party Favors

I love giving (and receiving) party favors that are useful as well as attractive and fun But I wouldn’t necessarily think of party favors as being ‘cost-effective’ until I came across ‘manicure set’ favors. And then I was just floored. because each of these favors typically include, at the very least, scissors, a nail file, clippers, and often more including tweezers, an orange stick, and/or cuticle pusher. And here’s where the cost effectiveness comes in – most of these tools alone often cost more than the total cost of these manicure sets

When would one give these sets out as party favors? well of course they are perfect for bridal showers, baby showers and girl’s night out favors. However, as of late I’ve seen them given as ‘girl’ favors at some events. Meaning that there are often two favors given out to guests – one specifically for the male guests and another given out to female guests. If this is the case for the party you are giving, I definitely vote on giving a truly girly favor for the gals (such as manicure sets, beauty favors, etc.).

The other nice thing about giving these manicure sets as party favors is that they usually sold in adorable, compact cases that are absolutely perfect to take when you travel. Manicure sets I’ve come across have been packaged in monogrammed cases and cases shaped as purses. quite chic.

So when thinking about what party favors your gal friends would really appreciate and use – think about manicure sets

Learn Manicure and Pedicure at Home

A manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment for the fingernails and hands enjoyed by both sexes. A manicure can treat just the hands, just the nails, or both. A standard manicure would usually include filing and shaping of the nails and the application of polish. French manicure is the latest and popular method in the nail fashion. A similar treatment performed on the feet is a pedicure. A manicurist can also apply treatments to real nails, such as painting pictures or designs on the nails or applying imitation jewels.

1. begin by removing any old nail polish with a cotton ball or pad.

2. Next, exfoliate your hands with either a salt or sugar scrub and then rinse thoroughly.

3. Apply a cuticle cream or drop of sweet almond oil to your cuticles. Leave on for a few minutes and then using an orange wooden stick, carefully push back cuticles until they are all even with each other.

4. The best way to shape nails is to keep them straight across the tips and round on the edges. Never file nails back and forth across the nail.

5. Next, apply a clear base coat over each of your nails and allow a few minutes to dry. A base coat will help strengthen nails.

6. Finally, apply a clear topcoat for shine and added protection to your french manicure.

1. first, remove any old nail polish from your toes with a nail polish remover.

2. Next, soak your feet in a tub of warm water. you can add a sweet almond oil to soften feet, if you’d like.

3. Use a cuticle cream or oil to gently push back cuticles.

4. Place a toe foam separator between toes and apply one base coat of clear nail polish.

5. Apply a translucent pink or nude nail color over the entire toenail. allow to dry before apply a second coat.

6. Finally, apply a top coat to give your new french manicure shine and protection.

1. its main purpose is to keep hands, arms clean and in good condition.

2. It prevents long nail formation.

3. It discourages the wrinkles on the skin on the hand which is the first sin of ageing.

4. It prevents nail damage like fragile tips, splits.

1. to keep the feet clean, fair and in good condition.

2. to make the skin soft and smooth.

3. It improves blood circulation, nourishes the skin of leg and the foot muscles.

4. to keep the toe nails clean, well shaped and shiny.

What I need for my Dorm room? 10 points!?

What might I have not thought of yet???

I already have…
-toiletries (3 towels, 10 wash cloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, tampons, shaving cream, face wash, moisturizer, deodorant) and a little tote/bucket to keep my stuff in so I dont leave all of it in the bathroom for everyone to use.

-a locking safe (to hold the title to my car, my soc card, my emergency credit card, some emergency cash, an extra key to my car, other important papers)

-A collapsable stand-up laundry bag with a carrying strap.

-Some nice hangers my boss let me have from work to hang things in my new closet.

Do I need to bring my own bedding?
Does the school provide toilet paper and hand soap in most dorms?

You will probably have to bring your own bedding. Never known them not to. If it is a community bathroom they will provide Toliet paper. Otherwise you will but be prepared to have some just in case. in the bathroom category don't forget toothbrush, toothpaste. You probably want a plug in strip for your things. there are never many plug ins. What about TV, Radio, something for entertainment. Lap top. do you have a desk in the room? What about a fridge or microwave?

Bring bedding.

Flashlight.

Yes, you need to bring your own bedding. Get an egg-crate too. Those are the best b/c dorm room beds are usually cheap and hard so an egg crate is vital. when you live in a dorm, the school should provide toilet paper and hand soap in dorms. Make sure you where flip-flops in the showers too!

- bedding
– if you have a private bathroom, you need toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc, if it is a shared bathroom (on the floor) then it is taken care of
– you're always responsible for cleaning your own dorm so bring a little garbage pail, bags, and some basic cleaning supplies (paper towels…)
– if you have the space, bring an extra container (like a plastic 3 drawer storage container) for snacks, socks, underwear, etc.
– if your school allows, a mini-fridge and microwave
– a lamp for your desk and/or a lamp for near your bed
– with the safe, put it somewhere out of view because if someone sees a safe, they are automatically going to assume it'd be worth taking…
…good luck!

French Manicure – Those Are One Set of Glossy Nails!

It is just amazing how something as minute as a nail can redefine the entire perspective of a lady’s hand. over the years, hand and specifically nail makeovers have evolved, to the extent to modify the frailest of nails to the lustrous nails of a hand model. The much illustrious method in this arena is the French manicure. Well, when the opinion of the masses is voiced, they speculate that this manner of manicure is now behind the times. Nonetheless, it still has its unique elegant class and never fails to turn eyes.

Almost all the beauty salons have staff capable of carrying out a French manicure. For those who are quite the specialists themselves, here is a simple routine to keep to.

  • For starters, grab the nail cutter and clip your nails. when you have trimmed them in the desired manner, file them. As a tip, tend to file the nails unidirectional. Keeps the nails strong and less fragile.
  • As a proceeding step, get some moisturizing liquid, preferably olive/almond oil. further, your hands have two options. Either you dunk them into the moisturizer or enwrap them with some drenched cloth. both of them help to soften the cuticles. now, the cuticles are to be pushed back employing the cuticle sticks.
  • Next, rinse your hands thoroughly with warm water and some hand wash. Wipe the hands dry for the important part.
  • Apply white polish as a base coat to the nail. Make sure you don’t quiver on the way. Multiple coats may be imperative, owing to the richness of the hue. allow for some respite between the application of, if necessary, various coats.
  • The shape in which you want to polish your nail can be determined in a very easy manner. whatever shape may be desired, just demarcate the tip of the finger nail with a straight or curved line and work with the polish below that marked benchmark to achieve the intended design.
  • At the end, paint the nail with a translucent hue, preferably pink, as part of the French manicure. With this final endeavor, your new look is good to go.

Not much of a hassle at home, is it? After your nails have been through the drill, the beauty of the manicure will reflect only if they are maintained up to the mark. Regular cleansing of the nails and layering the nails with an extra coat every night would do the trick.

Leaked from celeb Nail Files: Mani-pedi tips and polish trends

Katie admits, “Unless you really want to feel spoiled, you could do a great service at home.” It’s tempting to spoil ourselves time and time again by going to the salon, but sometimes we have to bite the bullet and work a little magic with the nail file ourselves.

Exfoliate and exfoliate more

“That’s the number one thing. Especially during the summer when skin gets very dry,” says Cazorla. she always tells clients to make sure they’re sloughing away dead skin. The idea: if you exfoliate right, you’ll rid your skin of dead cells and be left with a gorgeous, glowing hue.

Quality cuticle oil

Next up, invest in a top notch cuticle oil. “Cuticle oil can refresh your manicure; it can keep your cuticles from pulling and getting dry.” Katie even goes as far as to reccommend daily use of cuticle oil on the bottoms of your feet, tops of toes, knuckles, elbows and around your fingers. according to Katie, “It’s a miracle worker.”

Top coat protection

“Another great thing to do to maintain, when you polish your nails, is top coat. if you put top coat on your nails every 2-3 days, you can really extend the life of your manicure.” Think about all those summer activities that take a toll on a fresh mani-pedi and how a simple top coat can salvage the beauty on your fingertips.

At-home scrub

Katie comments that she loves the all organic vanilla peppermint scrub in her own line but no matter what scrubs you have lying around, she urges you to scrub-a-dub away. for an at-home recipe that will bring on the shine, she says to combine brown sugar and oil. Or try this beauty find: A brown sugar and vanilla scrub >>

Blues are back! Electric blues to be specific. “Anything that has a blue shimmer or bright, fun blues that pop.” Katie is also noticing a nail trend that shows off more than one shade. “Painting one nail a different color than the rest is a very trendy, fun thing to do.”

Of course, anything with glitter will be a hit. “You’re wearing open toed shoes all summer long,” Katie points out. Why not sport a little sparkle? Finally Katie leaves us with some final words of mani-pedi wisdom, “Corals and oranges are super hot.”

Pedicure Stools

There’s a need for one to be comfortable when performing a pedicure and this is brought about by the posture that one is in while performing this procedure. Pedicure stools can be used at spas but they’re best suited for home use. They’re three legged, can be adjusted to a level that is desired by the user, may have a reconfigured back. They’re covered in vinyl, plastic, or a material which is easy to clean between pedicures.

Pedicure stools are similar to those of the spa type, designed for use at home and around the yard and garden. they allow you to sit in a low or high position giving you the satisfaction of choosing your posture during pedicure.

When on a high position, the supporting platform can be used as a seat that can be secured at a suitable height for the user. in this way it can be functional as a spa stool or as a pedicure stool with a foot support when one wants to pedicure their own feet.

Pedicure stools are affordable and comfortable. They’re easy to keep clean and are also dirt free. a tub of water may be fixed externally to soak and clean the feet. Some of the tabs are fixed in a special way that allow the user to drain the water once in a while during the pedicure process. the tubs may also contain features like jets and lighting providing an ambiance that is enjoyable to the user. normally, the pedicure stool has a footrest attached to it.
