Manicure Sets As Party Favors

I love giving (and receiving) party favors that are useful as well as attractive and fun But I wouldn’t necessarily think of party favors as being ‘cost-effective’ until I came across ‘manicure set’ favors. And then I was just floored. because each of these favors typically include, at the very least, scissors, a nail file, clippers, and often more including tweezers, an orange stick, and/or cuticle pusher. And here’s where the cost effectiveness comes in – most of these tools alone often cost more than the total cost of these manicure sets

When would one give these sets out as party favors? well of course they are perfect for bridal showers, baby showers and girl’s night out favors. However, as of late I’ve seen them given as ‘girl’ favors at some events. Meaning that there are often two favors given out to guests – one specifically for the male guests and another given out to female guests. If this is the case for the party you are giving, I definitely vote on giving a truly girly favor for the gals (such as manicure sets, beauty favors, etc.).

The other nice thing about giving these manicure sets as party favors is that they usually sold in adorable, compact cases that are absolutely perfect to take when you travel. Manicure sets I’ve come across have been packaged in monogrammed cases and cases shaped as purses. quite chic.

Learn Manicure and Pedicure at Home

A manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment for the fingernails and hands enjoyed by both sexes. A manicure can treat just the hands, just the nails, or both. A standard manicure would usually include filing and shaping of the nails and the application of polish. French manicure is the latest and popular method in the nail fashion. A similar treatment performed on the feet is a pedicure. A manicurist can also apply treatments to real nails, such as painting pictures or designs on the nails or applying imitation jewels.

1. begin by removing any old nail polish with a cotton ball or pad.

2. Next, exfoliate your hands with either a salt or sugar scrub and then rinse thoroughly.

What I need for my Dorm room? 10 points!?

What might I have not thought of yet???

I already have…
-toiletries (3 towels, 10 wash cloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, tampons, shaving cream, face wash, moisturizer, deodorant) and a little tote/bucket to keep my stuff in so I dont leave all of it in the bathroom for everyone to use.

-a locking safe (to hold the title to my car, my soc card, my emergency credit card, some emergency cash, an extra key to my car, other important papers)

-A collapsable stand-up laundry bag with a carrying strap.

-Some nice hangers my boss let me have from work to hang things in my new closet.

Do I need to bring my own bedding?
Does the school provide toilet paper and hand soap in most dorms?

You will probably have to bring your own bedding. Never known them not to. If it is a community bathroom they will provide Toliet paper. Otherwise you will but be prepared to have some just in case. in the bathroom category don't forget toothbrush, toothpaste. You probably want a plug in strip for your things. there are never many plug ins. What about TV, Radio, something for entertainment. Lap top. do you have a desk in the room? What about a fridge or microwave?

Bring bedding.

Flashlight.

Yes, you need to bring your own bedding. Get an egg-crate too. Those are the best b/c dorm room beds are usually cheap and hard so an egg crate is vital. when you live in a dorm, the school should provide toilet paper and hand soap in dorms. Make sure you where flip-flops in the showers too!

- bedding
– if you have a private bathroom, you need toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc, if it is a shared bathroom (on the floor) then it is taken care of
– you're always responsible for cleaning your own dorm so bring a little garbage pail, bags, and some basic cleaning supplies (paper towels…)
– if you have the space, bring an extra container (like a plastic 3 drawer storage container) for snacks, socks, underwear, etc.
– if your school allows, a mini-fridge and microwave
– a lamp for your desk and/or a lamp for near your bed
– with the safe, put it somewhere out of view because if someone sees a safe, they are automatically going to assume it'd be worth taking…

French Manicure – Those Are One Set of Glossy Nails!

The much illustrious method in this arena is the French manicure. Well, when the opinion of the masses is voiced, they speculate that this manner of manicure is now behind the times. Nonetheless, it still has its unique elegant class and never fails to turn eyes.

Not much of a hassle at home, is it? After your nails have been through the drill, the beauty of the manicure will reflect only if they are maintained up to the mark. Regular cleansing of the nails and layering the nails with an extra coat every night would do the trick.
