This causes dryness and premature aging.

Avoid lotions with petroleum-based ingredients. These substances only coat your skin, preventing your pores from breathing. Instead, use anti-aging creams or lotions without toxic ingredients. These types of creams and lotions do not use mineral oil or other petroleum substances. Such products use ingredients for stimulating collagen and elastin, such as those that penetrate the layers of your skin, causing it to moisturize properly.

Self Tanner questions ASAP!?

I just got Vichy "Auto Bronzant" and I use to used it but was never consist, but loved the color it gave me! and now i wanna be tanned but with out going to a sun tanning bed and doing a fake'n bake. so here are my questions:

1. how important is it to exfoliate before putting on a self tanner?
2. I wanna be tanned all over, like face, bum, arms, vagina, everywhere literally! so will the tanner change the color of my nipples? "I know odd question…"
3. I don't wanna have a dark tan but I don't want a tiny tan so how often do I apply my self tanner? (Enough to make people think I went on vacation to a warm place.)

1. it is very important to exfoliate before applying the lotion. the first time I ever applied self tanner I didn't think it was actually necessary to exfoliate, and I was left with insane streaks. it was awful. the night prior to the tanning second "session", I applied the best lotion I had to every little square millimeter of my body, and made sure that my skin was well hydrated, and when I applied the tanner, I literally made sure I had more than 2 hours to do it, because it lasted for a long time, I didn't wanna screw it up. it was flawless(:

Applying to face, what I do with my brand (Jergens) is mix an equal amount of regular facial moisterizer, and then apply it evenly and flawlessly to your face, or, you can use bronzer for a sunkissed look. just apply it to everything else, I'm sure it won't change the color of your nipples, as when I go in the tanning bed occasionally it doesn't change the color of mine.
3. I apply my tanner once to twice a week, but then again I love dark colors. If you want a sunkissed glow, look in the natural light and see if you think you are dark enough, if you don't think so, then apply it again. or ask a trusted friend on their opinion.
