How long do they last, before having to get them tightened?

Some extensions can be worn for only a short period of time before having to get tightened while others it can be a couple months. this will help you decide how much maintenance you will have to have with the type of extension you choose. it will also give you an idea of the cost.

Am I ready for the extra maintenance that comes along with having extensions?

Having hair extensions isn’t something that’s easy, but it’s not hard either. it just requires a little extra time. for example blow drying your hair will take a little while longer just because its not your natural hair. Swimming and sleep are also something you have to take extra precautions on. when you are swimming (if you can swim in your extensions) you will have to take care to not just let your extensions be loose they either need to be braided or put into a tight bun to protect the hair. same as when you are sleeping to prevent unnecessary tangling.

Is my hair in the right condition for hair extensions? Can it handle the stress that they may cause?

If you hair is too damaged you might not what to put your hair under that much stress. the extra weight of the hair extension might cause more breakage then you would have if your hair was healthy.

Adding Your Own Acrylic Nail Tips

There’s no need to unnecessarily kill your budget having acrylic nail tips put on at the salon. Tough economic times have made us all aware that we sometimes take the easy road, when we could just as easily learn to do a few things for ourselves. While it wouldn’t be recommended that you cut your hair at home by yourself: acrylic nail tips can be very easy and quick to do yourself, with a little practice.

*Acrylic tips of your choosing.

*Nail Primer (Disinfectant).

1. place some paper towels on the surface you’ll be using and get some small glasses for the acrylic liquid and acetone.

2. Take the acrylic nail tips out of the package and find one that matches your tips properly. once you’ve glued them on, you don’t want the tips to extend much farther than your natural tips — otherwise you increase the risk of breakage. once you’ve found which one is right for you: Line them up in order of which nail will go first, second, third, etc.

3. next dab a small amount of bonding glue on your own nail (one at a time) and place the acrylic tip on, while holding for a few seconds.

4. next file and shape each nail to desired shape/length.

5. Mix liquid acrylic and acrylic powder. after that’s done: dip your application brush in the mixture and carefully brush it on each nail. Try to get close to the cuticle without overlapping it. Frequently dip the brush in the acetone, to prevent the brush from hardening.

6. Apply second coat if needed.

7. once everything is dry, further shape acrylic nail tips if needed and buff them for a smooth finish before applying any polish.

8. Apply polish and enjoy your new nails.

Suggestions for inexpensive natural/organic facial moisturizer lotion->can also work around eyes?

Hello
I'm looking for a facial moisturizer lotion that is very natural/organic (or even a home remedy type thing), something soothing for the skin. I've also had horrible dryness/almost rash-like irritation around the eyes, which I think have to do with moisture too or something (it's very irritated and has been), so I would love a facial moisturizing lotion that can be used around the eyes. I can't afford expensive creams, I'm currently on a heavy budget..any ideas?

I would also stop using concealers. my suggestion would be Organix Cosmetics eye serum in their Organic Anti Aging Line or Organique Eye Serum. they are very lightweight, fast absorbing serums. do not use creams in the eye area. Then you get those tiny bumps around the eyes.

Apply a self tanning lotion to your face. you can do your whole body, but it takes more time – so get fake tanning cream to apply to just your face. Any pharmacy will sell self-tanner. you need to find one that is just one shade darker than your actual skin color.     

On your face and neck apply only a few drops of self-tanner. (It can be mixed with moisturizer for better coverage.) Wait two hours before applying makeup after you have the self-tanning color applied. just by having a slightly darker face, you will be likely to fool most people.
