How do you use an electric shaver properly?

whenever I use an electric shaver I am stuck trying to shave the same place on my face about 4 times. it just never get all the hairs. am doing something wrong?

This is why I prefer the Gillete Fusion one. Just glide it across the area you want to shave, if you see that it shaves off hair only at a certain height of hair then your doing it right. It's best to wet your facial hair before shaving or using a gel. If it's not the razor ones then its okay to force it a little just don't use force with the open razor blade ones.

you must wash your face to rid the skin of oils, once dry then shave.
also stretch the skin with the free hand
